Software Development Engineer for the Win 32 platform

Lake Image Systems leads the field in the design, development and manufacture of vision systems for the printing industry.

Our industry is experiencing massive worldwide growth, and with an excellent reputation in both Europe and the US we are looking to take our technology to the global market.

To fulfil the potential we undoubtedly have, we need to enhance our S/W development team with the addition of 2 new UK based engineers.

The ideal candidates will have at least 3 years or more proven experience in C++ and object oriented design, for vision related applications on the Win32 platform. Flexibility, with good communication skills will be necessary, with the ability to work to tight timescales within a small but committed and dedicated team.

Essential:
	Minimum 3 years development experience using Microsoft Visual C++
	Excellent MFC knowledge
	Experience with machine process/control software
	GUI design & development
	Serial communication and protocols
	Experience with multithreaded applications
	Degree educated in computer science or related discipline

Advantages:
	Object-oriented design methodologies (OOD/OOA)
	Experience with COM and ActiveX components
	Database interfacing using ADO/ODBC technologies
	TCP/IP network communication
	An understanding of Image Processing
	Project management experience from design through to commercialisation
