Antares implements additional camera matching equipment to allow for
a wider variety of personalized data driven mailing pieces

Antares Information Technologies has purchased 6 additional camera
vision systems from Lake Image Systems to enhance its existing
personalization, matching and inserting capabilities in its state of
the art Hauppauge, NY headquarters.
“Our clients have asked for solutions to comply with changing data
privacy and data security requirements as well as the ability to
incorporate more personalized and dynamic data into their direct
mail campaigns.” said Steve Hertz, Vice President of Sales for
Antares Information Technologies. Personalized mail delivers
consistently higher response rates and our clients want to include
multiple personalized elements in their direct mail campaigns. With
the additional capabilities of these camera vision systems, we can
offer our clients many different solutions for their specific data
needs.
Integrated into our production equipment, these camera vision
systems verify barcodes or other optical characters necessary for
package verification on financial statements, confirmation
statements and direct mail components. Additional personalization
solutions available with these cameras include; verified matching of
embossed plastic cards, drop-on-demand inkjet cards, and thermal
imaged paper cards. Privacy protection is also ensured with image
verification. The Lake Image cameras verify that the contents within
the envelope are for the intended recipient without double stuffed,
missing or duplicate pieces.
