Communications Selects Lake Image Systems for Document Integrity
Verification and Matching

(September 4, 2007) – Vertis Communications announced today
the installation of several Lake Image Systems machines
–
including inserter matching, plastic card matching, Postnet
Verification, and integrity verification solutions – to assist with
its identity verification, in-line inkjet and matching automation in
two New Jersey facilities.

and plastic card processing solutions to boost workflow, reduce
production costs, and ultimately deliver increased confidence to

In its
Bellmawr, N.J. and Monroe Township, N.J. facilities, Vertis
installed several production line items, including in-line inkjet
printers to produce personalized matching envelopes alongside mail
inserting equipment. Such machines provide an innovative solution to
meet the increased demand for improved document personalization and
help combat hidden address issues within window envelopes. Along
with in-line inkjet installations, Vertis selected Lake Image
System’s Integra Vision Solutions to match sequence numbers, bar
codes and data matrix codes while simultaneously ensuring that
postal codes meet the requirements of the United States Postal
Service. Additionally, Lake Image Systems’ camera-based solutions
identify missing and/or duplicate pieces, automate tray and bundle
sorting, while providing production integrity reporting which
verifies job level production and machine level metrics.
