Lake Image Systems will be at the MÜLLER Open House taking place on 19-21 September at the Müller Apparatebau GmbH facility, Kranzbury, Germany.
A key feature at the event will be the MÜLLER 7700 UNIVERSAL MAIL-TRACKING SYSTEM which will show black-and-white continuous prints, taken from the Domino K630i, being made into 16- or 32-page signatures from the fully automatic MB-Bäuerle folder.
Discovery Roll Inspector, placed inline between the Domino K630i and the Muller signature maker, incorporating the new 587mm width Discovery Maxscan linear scanner, capable of capturing ultra crisp images at true 600dpi and at 110 meters/min.
The system will be verifying barcodes, QRCodes and OCR codes and other variable information printed by the Domino K630i press for readability and sequence verification. Additionally, the output will be inspected for print errors such as such as ink spots, toner streaks, voids, color variations and image quality issues. When a defect is detected an alarm can be issued to alert the operator, a tab or marker is placed on the web where the error was found and/or the line can be stopped.
