Lake Image Systems launches Lake Image Web Technologies Ltd.

Lake Image Systems, leaders in data integrity, verification and inspection systems, today announced that it is launching a new subsidiary, Lake Image Web Technologies Ltd.
The new company will develop software tools and products for sale exclusively through the Lake Image group of companies. .
The move reflects Lake Image’s desire to extend its reach and grow beyond its existing market of digital printers and mailing houses into the wider commercial printing market where integrated variable data reading and print quality inspection are increasingly required.
Lake Image has already launched IntegraVision PQ which provides commercial printers and label manufacturers with consistent repeatability, essential in pharmaceutical, medical, and food packaging printing.
Martin Keats, the UK managing director of Lake Image, explained: “With the merging of variable print data and high quality label and continuous printing technologies we aim to provide a complete toolset to meet combined data integrity and print quality inspection demands. We are getting a fantastic response to IntegraVision Discovery and PQ and feel there are many more opportunities to develop our technologies further for the continuous print, web and label inspection markets.”
Lake Image is currently recruiting senior developers to work with new company on developing its first product set due to launch in early 2010.
