Lake Image Systems launch Color Inspection tools for Discovery suite

Lake Image Systems, leaders in data integrity, verification and print quality inspection systems, has recently released the latest color inspection tools for its Discovery suite.

The new ColorVerify tool can compare areas of color in a print process with a pre-trained template or reference. Using Delta-E processes, the tool can identify color drift outside a user defined tolerance and signal an alarm or error condition.

The new ColorRegistration tool is designed to measure deviation in colour registration targets in sheet and web fed print processes.

Aimed at the digital and inkjet press markets, the new Color Tools firmly place the Lake Image Discovery systems as the most comprehensive inspection device available today.  Other functionality includes Print Quality inspection, for identifying traditional print defects such as streaks and voids, with variable data and integrity verification for all commonly used symbologies, such as OCR, QR Code, Barcode and 2D, combined with in line real time ISO and ANSI Barcode Grading.
